Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)

Shaping a better world, together

Shaping a better world, together

We are living in an era where ESG is in the spotlight.

At Momentum ITSMA we take our impact on the environment seriously. We’re taking concrete steps to reduce our carbon footprint and engage in sustainable practices – and not just because it’s the right thing to do.

Our shared vision is rooted in a profound sense of responsibility for the world we inhabit. ESG issues resonate deeply with every member of our team – from tackling global warming to championing gender equality, we’re proud to be at the forefront of this movement and are determined to be a driving force for change.

Inspired by the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), we’ve integrated sustainable growth into the very fabric of everything we do – for our clients, shareholders, and people.

We pledge to conduct business that not only advances ESG goals but also makes a tangible difference in the world. Our mission is clear: to leave a legacy of positive change and shape a better world for all.

Reinforcing decarbonization

As we continue our transformative path towards a greener future, we’ve identified several crucial next steps to further enhance our environmental efforts.

To ensure accuracy in tracking our environmental impact, we’ll be conducting yearly reviews of our ESG emissions calculations. By centralizing this measurement, we can adjust and fine-tune the data to account for our growing workforce. This meticulous approach will empower us to monitor our progress and make informed decisions.

Our commitment

  • Deliver 80% of our office energy through renewable sources by 2025
  • Reduce our scope 1 and scope 2 carbon impact by at least 30% and centralize our carbon measurement by 2025

Advancing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I)

At Momentum ITSMA our approach to DE&I is grounded in a simple principle: we embrace and celebrate everyone. We nurture a culture that empowers all employees to bring their authentic selves to work, and actively implement diversity initiatives to support each individual. We’re dedicated to embracing equality within our organization and acting as a leader across our industry.

Our commitment extends beyond the workplace; we strive to contribute to creating a more equitable world. We’re proud of the work we do to actively promote the representation and participation of diverse groups of people. Through many on-going events and initiatives we’re helping to create an environment of respect and fairness for all.

Our commitment

  • Increase manager and leadership diversity by 15% by 2025 (female, black, LGBTQ+, disabled)
  • Invest 1 million (GDP) of business resources into social causes by 2033, including all employees completing one day of social volunteering each year

Breaking the Bias Podcast

Our Breaking the Bias Podcast aims to shine a light on and share stories of workplace empowerment. In a collection of conversations with inspirational leaders from global organizations, we celebrate those who defy stereotypes, challenge norms, and lead with inclusivity.

Celebrating Women’s History Month

On International Women’s Day 2023, we honored some of B2B marketing’s most influential and inspirational women – not just for the amazing success they’ve achieved themselves, but the dedication they show to championing others.

Womentum

As a very fitting finale to Women’s History Month, we were thrilled to welcome students from a local sixth form to our London office, for our first inspirational ‘Building Womentum’ event.

Our event’s focus was empowering women and the next generation of leaders. The atmosphere was vibrant as we kicked-off with a ‘speed networking session’, with some very thought-provoking conversation starters and some interesting and challenging questions posed by the students.

In an open and honest break-out session, Emma Chatwin, VP Marketing Europe at Fujitsu, highlighted that it’s ok to not have it all figured out just yet, and Toni Allen, Executive Director, Institute of Technology and Engineering, explored the effects of Imposter Syndrome.

Look out for more events like this coming soon.

Cultivate trust, respect, and fairness

Our pursuit of building a workplace of trust, respect, and fairness drives us to focus on key initiatives that elevate our organizational culture to new heights.

Our foremost commitment is to create a workplace that is free from bullying, harassment, and victimization. We value and appreciate the contributions of each staff member and strive to foster an environment where everyone feels respected and recognized for their unique talents.

We believe every employee should have knowledge and understanding of their responsibilities within our business. Through sharing our governance policies, encompassing critical aspects such as data protection, data security, equality, and anti-corruption, we ensure a strong ethical foundation across the organization.

Our commitment

  • Educate all employees on the importance of responsibility and governance policies. All employees to undergo data security and anti-corruption training by 2024
  • Measure our ethical integrity through our employee engagement survey

Open Horizons

To not only empower our employees, but also contribute to the wellbeing of the global community, we’ve launched a new initiative – Open Horizons.

Designed to expand our employees’ perspectives while also supporting people across the world, this offers opportunities for personal growth and cultural exchange. We’ll help five selected employees with a volunteering opportunity, whether it be embarking on a charitable hike along the Appalachian Trail or collaborating with scientific researchers in Peru to safeguard the Amazon rainforest. Whatever path our employees choose to support and protect the global community, we’re committed to helping them realize their goals.
