About Dave Munn
Dave is a Partner at Momentum ITSMA, where he has spent more than 25 years leading the way in defining, documenting, and inspiring marketing excellence and transformation with the Momentum ITSMA global community.
Dave advises marketing leaders across the community on a range of topics, overseeing Momentum ITSMA’s advisory boards, councils, and executive programs, and leading the organization’s marquee events. Dave helped pioneer the discipline of Account-Based Marketing (ABM) in the early 2000s and is co-author of the book, A Practitioner’s Guide to ABM: Accelerating Growth in Strategic Accounts (Kogan Page, 2017) and the new, updated Second Edition of A Practitioner’s Guide to ABM (Kogan Page, 2021).
Previously, Dave held senior-level field positions with Oracle and Apple, where he was responsible for marketing products and services to commercial and government accounts. Earlier, Dave was a senior analyst with The Ledgeway Group, which is now part of Gartner, where he authored Ledgeway’s first Service Trends and Forecast study.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Denison University and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School, where he concentrated in Marketing and Corporate Strategy. He lives in historic Concord, Massachusetts.
