Mark is a thought leadership expert who has worked with some of the world’s leadingB2B brands and business thinkers, to create research-driven thought leadershipprogrammes which capture mindshare and drive commercial opportunities.
He’s responsible for scoping, planning and leading the delivery of high-impact, award-winning programmes for clients including Cisco, DS Smith, Herbert Smith Freehills, Mercer, PwC and Tata Consultancy Services.
He has extensive experience of developing innovative services in response to client needs which deliver real business impact, orchestrating the entire process from securing senior management buy-in and ideation, through research design, data analysis, campaign activation and measurement. He is also a skilled and inspiring trainer and presenter.
As co-founder of Grist, a leading independent thought leadership agency acquired by Momentum ITSMA in 2023, he worked on vision, strategy, proposition, performance and governance, as well as managing the client services delivery team. Prior to launching Grist, he held senior editorial positions at International Thomson, Financial Times and The Economist, in London, Hong Kong and New York.
He has a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Analysis from Lancaster University Management School, as well as a BA in History from Lancaster University. He is also a published author, having written a book on the history of track cycling Ride! Ride! Ride!, and appearing on TV shows and documentaries as the resident cycling expert.
